Here's my idea for Hangouts...
1) Removed the "+" icon. Couldn't see the use for it when it was just one swipe away.
2) Moved account switcher to drop down in app bar, doesn't show the email anymore (email shows while switching). Screenshoootsssss!
3) Moved "Snooze" and "Mood" to app bar.
4) Changed dialer icon, it was repeating at bottom.

I didn't aim for pixel perfection here. The drop down, snooze & mood probably have wrong padding. Others are according to material guidelines.
I'll also add a conversation switcher concept when I've time.
Update: I should probably replace snooze with search. That's more important & frequently used.
